“Since I was elected in December 2011, I have secured neither alleviation nor treatment from the medical profession for my illness known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. “  “I will support the procedures of the Assembly of State of Parties later this year, so that a replacement judge can be duly elected,”  pahayag pa ni Santiago sa kanyang liham.

“Chronic fatigue syndrome/ME is a condition where you have long-term disabling tiredness (fatigue). Most people with chronic fatigue syndrome/ME also have one or more other symptoms such as muscular pains, joint pains, disturbed sleep patterns, poor concentration, headaches. The cause is not known. Treatments that may help in some cases (but not all) include a programme of graded exercise therapy (GET) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT),” ayon pa sa artikulo.
