AUGUST 1-10: CINEMALAYA 2014 simula na bukas

Cinemalaya 2014 Magsisimula na bukas ang pinakahihintay na independent film festival kada taon sa bansa ang Cinemalaya. 

Kasabay ng pagbubukas ng taunang indie film festival ay ipinagdiriwang din ng Cinemalaya ang ika sampung taon nila.

Sisimulan ang taunang festival bukas sa tahanan nito sa Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Handog ng mga organizer para sa unang araw ng festival ang libreng pagpapalabas ng “DOCUMENTED”.

Ito ay isang dokumentaryo na ginawa ni Jose Antonio Vargas, isang Pulitzer Price winner tungkol sa kanyang buhay sa Estados Unidos bilang isang undocumented citizen.

Sa kabuuan, may 15 pelikula ang kalahok ngayon taon kabilang na rito ang limang directors showcase at 10 new breed films. Bukod dito ay mapapanood din ang 10 short films na kasama para sa kompetisyon ngayong taon. -DCR

Now a mature woman, she takes a pivotal call  from the morgue, spurring her search for the perfect pair of shoes for her dead  father.
